Work/Life success

Work/Life balance

Work/Life Balance to Work/Life Success A heated debated topic. Once I thought about it is not the way, I do practice and follow. Unless you reach certain level, you should practice W/L. As I am a bit ambitious and at the bottom of the social life. Work, family, kids and hobbies, all I get it. Finding time for everything isn't easy. Going between and being balance is too much theory and in-practical.  Being balance and going balance will not give the answer you are looking for. It much depends on your age and your role and your goal. Going between and taking middle path will not be excel in what you pursuit. To be great and successful in both area or professional career and personal life, they have to co-exist and integrated as one. Work/Life integration means happy at family life and success at professional career.

First stage of life, education matter.
Second stage of life, wealth matter.
Final stage of life, dharma matters.
So is we learnt.

Role and responsibility, goal and ambition, and the people with you.

Role and responsibility at work can be eased or burdened. Besides, the career you select to work is also critical to be successful in your endeavor. Work what you love or Love what your work. If one candidate comes to your office and says to you in an interview that he wants work-life balance. What the interviewer really hear is, "I don't want to put extra effort to excel in my role and become great." They are eliminating the possibility of loving the role because they're already thinking about clocking out. In any role, you have to invest  in your career and put in time to learn and develop.

Your goal, are you ambitious or just so and so. The world of business is evolving and constantly evolving. If you have to stay current, then

You must look at the two as one, you will be much happier in your career and personal life.
